Download the FlipperSplash™ app and fill out your Influencer profile. Try to be as descriptive as possible, this helps the right Brands find you! Don't forget social media links and a killer profile pic.
02. Find a gig
Once you've created your profile, you can search for Gigs. You can search using keywords, interest and location filters to discover Gigs that fit your lifestyle.
03. Connect with a Brand
Once you are accepted to a Gig, use our messaging tool to work out the perfect partnership and leave no detail undiscovered.

WHAT IS A GIG AND HOW DO I GET INVITED TO ONE?
A Gig is the FlipperSplash version of a campaign. Brands create Gigs to outline all that they are looking for in an Influencer connection. A Gig can be for a specific Influencer partnership, like a Holiday Sale, or broad, like a VIP Pod for a restaurant or boutique. The Gig is where Influencers will go to get all the details on what Brands are looking for in their Influencer connections.
While there is no way to solicit a Gig invitation, you can do a few things to get involved in Gigs. First, be sure your profile is complete. Brands will search Influencers to invite to their Gigs using a keyword search. If you want to be discoverable to Brands you love, be sure to include all the keywords you are passionate about in your profile. Influencers can also visit the Public Gigs tab and request access to all posted Gigs.
I HAVEN’T HEARD FROM ANY BRANDS, NOW WHAT?
Are all the sections on your Influencer profile completed? If not, that is Step #1! FlipperSplash is designed to make intelligent connections between Brand and Influencer using keywords input by the Brands and matching them to keywords found in the Influencer’s profile – no keywords, no matches.
Profile complete, but still no gig requests? No need to wait for Brands to come to you! Head on over to the public gigs tab! These gigs are open to Influencers looking to collaborate. If you see a gig that coincides with your personal Brand, you are welcome to request access to the gig. There are new gigs being posted every day, so be sure to check that tab out often!
I AM MISSING A PRODUCT/SERVICE FROM A BRAND, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
The first step would be to contact the Brand manager in charge of your gig to discuss the status of your product/service. If you aren’t having any luck with your Brand manager, the next step would be to contact FlipperSplash, hello@flippersplash.com, so we can reach out on your behalf.
IF I DON’T LIKE THE PRODUCT/SERVICE, DO I STILL HAVE TO POST ABOUT IT?
The growth of Influencer Marketing over traditional marketing is due in large part to the transparency of Influencers and the trust their followers have in them and the Brands they represent. As our goal is to maintain that trust, we would never encourage our Influencers to show support for a product or service they are dissatisfied with. However, we do ask that Influencers reach out to their Brand manager to discuss your experience. All feedback is helpful!
CAN I WORK WITH COMPETING BRANDS?
While there is no policy against working with competing Brands, we do urge our Influencers to remain true to their Brands and only support products/services that they would use themselves.
HOW DO I RECEIVE COMPENSATION FOR MY GIGS?
FlipperSplash works as the connection and management platform for Brands to find Influencers. We do not take any part in compensation rates or delivery between Brand and Influencer. Any discussion of compensation should happen before an Influencer agrees to a Gig. Please visit the Influencer Toolboxfor some examples of contracts and compensation protocol.
CAN I JOIN MULTIPLE GIGS AT ONCE?
As an Influencer, you know better than us what your schedule allows. We do not limit the amount of Gigs an Influencer can participate in, but do suggest using your calendar functionality to be sure not to overbook!
